Friends of Kottinger Creek The Friends of Kottinger Creek is a nonprofit, grassroots, citizens' committee advocating the restoration and preservation of the City of Pleasanton's creeks and their riparian habitat. We are currently focused on restoration of the portion of Kottinger Creek that flows through Kottinger Community Park. Kottinger Creek is a tributary of Arroyo Valle in Pleasanton, which flows into Arroyo de la Laguna, then into Alameda Creek. Welcome to Kottinger Creek. These pages tell the story of the Kottinger Creek Restoration Project, from advocacy for creek protection and restoration by a grassroots citizens' group, through design and (hopefully) construction of a restored Kottinger Creek, supported by the City of Pleasanton, California. The Friends of Kottinger Creek hope you will find the information interesting and that it will serve as encouragement to those who are working to restore creeks everywhere.
