SFPUC WATER SUPPLY PROJECTS The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission has undertaken a Water System Improvement Program (WSIP) to repair, replace, and seismically upgrade the water system. The WSIP consists of 75 San Francisco and regional projects, to be completed by the end of 2015, including 9 projects in the Sunol Valley region. Construction of the expanded Sunol Valley Water Treatment Plant and the Irvington Tunnel have begun in the Sunol Valley.
